    Hello,

I’ve installed the free version with intentions of going to pro.

My question is how do I go about viewing a list of all coupons within a specific category? I changed the slug to “coupons” but if I try to view a test coupon category from the list, it goes to a /cctor_coupon_category/test instead which shows the category title in the page but no coupons are listed.

If I change the slug, shouldn’t that be what’s in the URL and listing all the contents within that category?

Once that’s working, it would be great to include pagination when there are a lot of coupons… ie. 10 per page.

    Thanks!
    Jason

    Hi,

Thanks for using the Coupon Creator.

There is no templates for the coupons so there is no category url.

You can use the shortcode to display coupons by category.

If you have a category of Lettuce it would like somehting like this:

    [coupon couponid="loop" category="Lettuce" couponorderby="date" coupon_align="cctor_alignnone" name="Coupon Loop"]

If you use the coupon inserter you can build a category shortcode and insert it into any page or post:

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi Brian,

Thank you for your quick response!

I have the shortcode working per your instructions however I just wanted to see if there’s a way of getting it in the loop like a blog listing. Using the shortcode, one has to create a new page/post for each category which is tedious to manage when there are a lot of categories ??

    Thanks again,
    Jason

Unfortunately, that is the only method available in the Coupon Creator and it is not a feature of Coupon Creator Pro either. It could be something I add to the plugin, but I do not have a timeline when that might happen.

    Cheers

This would be super helpful for that to be a feature in the plugin! It would allow for a lot more customization and doesn’t require much tweaking.

I’ve been playing around and adjusted the taxonomy to allow this (almost). Looks like you need two different slugs instead of the one or the pages conflict (ie coupon/coupons)… then load the shortcode into a new taxonomy template.

Lots of ideas for this plugin ??

It sounds like a good and on the list. Not sure when it might be added to the plugin.

    Thanks.
