Password error after edit post

  • This is more of a nuisance than a serious problem, but every time I edit a post, I click save and get this error message:

    Something went wrong – 101 : Invalid password

    It saves the edit, but it always gives me that message. And since I’m going back to every entry to add tags, it’s becoming quite a bother.

    Is this a cookie thing? Any ideas?

    This password error is happening even after making a regular post, on my computers at home and at work, and is getting very irritating.

    Please, will someone help me?

    Hi – found your message by googling with the same error message text, and was rather annoyed that there was no response.

    Anyway, I figured it out – look at your plugins: Are you cross-posting to livejournal, by any chance? Did you change your LJ password without updating that info in your wordpress cross-posting plugin’s options page?

    Update that password and see if the problem goes away.

    I hadn’t changed my LJ password, but apparently the problem was connected with that particular plugin anyway. When I deactivated it, the password problem disappeared.
