1,000 views to 1k views

    Hi!

    I’m using this plugin since 4 years, thank you for this great plugin!

    I would like to add the post views to my share bar. It is vertically scrollable, so I have not so much space in the horizontally direction. That’s why I would like to turn the displayed count in very short counts like this:

    1
    2
    ..
    10
    20
    ..
    100
    200
    ..
    +1k
    +2k
    …

    But the count in the post’s meta should be untouched…

    Is this possible?

    Try under WP-Admin -> Settings -> Postviews, “Views Template”, change “%VIEW_COUNT% views” to “+%VIEW_COUNT_ROUNDED% views”

    WOW – Thanks for the quick answer! It works! But is it possible to get two different templates? The regular count and the rounded? I would like to include both at the my theme’s single.php…

    You still can use %VIEW_COUNT% in the template. It is template, so you can use any variables.
