    Hey there robinnc,

    Hope you’re well today!

You can definitely use only one provider, in case you need more providers to cover other time slots you can use “dummy” providers by checking the box next to provider in Appointments -> Settings -> Service Providers, see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/V5yK2YqmFbr.

Those providers can be assigned to yourself in Appointments -> Settings -> General -> Accessibility Settings https://screencast.com/t/hIQbtgqwAB.

As for charging the fee if the client doesn’t show up that really depends on the setup. If you’re using online payments with MarketPress, appointments can’t be booked unless payment is confirmed. So you can charge in the booking process.

    Hope this helps ??

    Best regards,
    Bojan

Thanks for the reply. For my client, payment is received after services are rendered she is in health care. So, no fees are charged until after the appointment.

Can MarketPress be configured in this way?

    Hey again robinnc,

MarketPress can use manual payments to handle payments which allows you to give instructions to clients how to make payments in the checkout process.

The problem is that the appointments is not actually booked until the payment status is set to paid which has to be done manually in MarketPress Manage Orders section (when using manual payments). Either way if you’re charging after the appointment is made I don’t believe MarketPress can help you with the original issue of being able to charge clients if they do not show up.

    Best regards,
    Bojan
