Line space after “prev” “next” links at top of post

I’ve got a series of posts that make up a long “paper”.

I’ve got a problem with the line at the top of the post pages that show the name of the previous and next posts in the series (with links to them, how handy is that).

The problem is that the post titles are long, and the “prev/next” links crowd down into the title for the current post.

Is there some way to put an extra line space after the “prev/next” links line?

Any help with this would be appreciated.
