Question to open posts/pages in modal pop up

Firstly thank you for the great plugin.
I just wanted to ask if it is possible to open posts/page/custom post types in modal pop ups with this plugin?I don’t have an example url to show you what I mean.
To give you an idea, I am going to Divi theme portfolio plugin to display custom post types, this displays a grid of thumbnails/titles :
