Menu not updating. Possible CDN or W3TC issue?

  • Noticed that any changes made to the menu weren’t showing up. I followed a guide for completely removing w3tc, and for cloudflare i emptied cache and paused it. It feels like I’m trying to stab a zombie now.

    The site is babyrelish.com and the shopping bag should take you to babyrelish.com/cart not babyrelish.com/cart-2. And I am sure that I set the menu up right, plus there’s some pages doing the same, but the menu is the easiest to verify.

  • A couple things to check…

    1. Make sure your cart page doesn’t have two versions. You may have deleted one, but make sure it’s not still sitting in the Trash.

    2. Check (and edit) the slug of your existing cart page.

    When you see a “-2” it usually means there are still two pages named the same.

    Ah to be clear if I load up the menu and expand “cart” it shows,

    which links to https://babyrelish.com/cart/
    Yet this is not what loads on the live site

    I believe the problem to be caused by one of the speedup plugins, except those things have a lot of ins and outs that are unfortunately beyond me, though I’m happy the learn.

    I’m also happy to be wrong. Whatever ends this madness!
