Not working on a temporary / IP url

Hi I’ve enabled the ‘Coming Soon’ page but it’s not working. I’m thinking maybe it’s because I’m working on a temporary URL (using a web hosting reference before I transfer the domain). It has hidden the website fine but it says ‘Not found’The requested URL /tregowanstives.co.uk was not found on this server.
