Not responsive to screen size

I have this auto showing at the top of the page and I have it in the sidebar. The one at top of the page is not responsive when changing the screen size, but the one in the sidebar is fine. When I first load the page, the filter at the top of the page looks like it is fine, but as soon as the page finishes loading, the text gets squished together and it ends up making long vertical lines of letters. Please help, this is a time sensitive issue!! Thanks
