Menu gets stuck

I’m constantly having issues with the menu not behaving and getting stuck. Mostly it is with the Safari mobile browser, but sometimes with Chrome as well. I do not have the check box checked that allows the swipe, so you need to press the button to open the menu. Please help. The site is https://www.minnemamaadventures.com.
