  • Hello. I’m exactly the same problem!

    Hi,

Same thing for me too, straight after updating.

To get the site back up I had to delete the plugin from the file manager in the host cPanel.

As I’m using a theme that depends on Redux, my site now has no bespoke css.

Tried to activate the redux update again and this happened:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home1/maldive2/public_html/wp-content/plugins/redux-framework/ReduxCore/inc/themecheck/class.redux_themecheck.php on line 193

So, I’m looking to get a previous version.

Hi, for me the same problem. It gives the same error. Please help!

Disabling Redux Framework via FTP brought my website back. So there seems to be a coding error in the update.

I had contact with the Redux Framework people. There is now version 5.3.3.1, which is safe to install. It was a problem which occurred if your provider is running PHP 5.2.

Thanks for the update on here. Installed the 5.3.3.1 and all is good!

Would recommend EVERYONE, if you have not already done so, add the WP_DEBUG_LOG

It will save so much time. I was lazy and didn’t add it until this happened.

Thanks for the heads up guys! Damn thing’s been giving me grief.

    Hope this stays fixed!

New update broke my website again. Same error. Very unpleased.

Same issue! Looking for the previous versions to revert now…

    Hi!,

I am working in localhost (xampp) and have installed “Redux Framework” plugin to check its functionality and working but when i activated the plugin my site (demo site) got crashed.

I have to remove the plugin to get it back in localhost. I have searched for the solution in the forum and found that, someone gave a link for the to download the master file of the same but now the plugin after installing and activating the master file gave me the below error message…Pls help.

Call to undefined function wp_generate_password() in /var/www/html/ReduxWP/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 169

I have checked the file but in no where now…
