Still working on this. I’ve identified a weird issue with certain browsers and certain hosts that I’m investigating. Looks like it works solidly with Chrome but fails on certain hosts reliably in Firefox.

Stay tuned. Haven’t forgotten. Just a challenge to repeat reliably enough to debug.

is this related to the fact that when I am making a test payment, the paypal login page is telling me my password is incorrect? But when I go to paypals home page to log in, it’s no problem. I’m new to this plugin and am just trying to figure it all out. I am using google chrome as well.
While I am writing you, I am wondering if the page of donations made, with their info & comments, is going to automatically post on my website or is htat only available for me to see?
    Thank you,
    Lindsay

When you say test payment, I assume you mean the sandbox mode. Sandbox mode requires you to set up a separate set of account names (it’s a PayPal developer thing).

The list of donations is only available for you to see. I am intending to add some widget options, but that’s in the future, once this big release stabilizes.

Thank you, but I’m not sure what you mean by setting up a separate set of account names. Do I need to set up a new paypal account for testing purposes?

That would be a great add. This plugin is great!

This will give you an idea of how to set up Sandbox accounts. Don’t worry about the API itself, just follow the account setup guidelines.

    Thank you, David.
Now that I’m set up, I’d like to process a payment and test the appearance of the thank you page and template. (For some reason I’m not receiving the test email when I click the button to test it, but I’d be interested in making a test payment anyway.)
But now, I’m stuck in sandbox mode. I’ve clicked to update my settings plenty of times to LIVE. I feel silly, like I’m missing something simple.
    Thank you for your help.

Lindsay, that’s most likely due to caching. Refresh or clear your cache (might require doing at the hosting level) and it will probably work.

Also, I’m getting close to a new release, probably within a day or so.
