    Hi,

I tried to install your plugin, everything went fine until the moment i went to activate it.

It crashed all my wordpress site and everything is redirecting to HTTP ERROR.
I have tried installing both ways…and manually and by WP Backoffice and i get the same result.

Can you help me to resolve this issue?

    Thank you

    Hi,

this could be due to a conflict with another plugin/theme or a server misconfiguration.

We would need to have a look at your website to tell you more.

    Hi Paolo,

I have registered to your forum and added a post there.

My site is on a test domain at the moment:

I have installed a fresh copy of wordpress since the last crash – I have installed but not activated the GeoDirectory Plugin.
At this stage if I press “activate” it will cause the problem/crash.
Since it’s a fresh WP installation there are no plugins or themes there for it to create conflicts.
So please be ready that when you activate the plugin WordPress will crash.

Is the plugin compatible with WordPress 4.2.2?

I have managed to get the debug.log hopefully this will provide you with some more help.

After activating the plugin and crashing WP (HTTP ERROR – 500 Internal server error) this is the log:

I still haven’t received any update.

Can you at least answer on if you can help me solve this issue?

    Thank you.

Hi Andrikos, not sure if Paolo is replying the forum or not, but those are “warnings” of some less than perfect practice, but doesn’t cause the site to crash. Your site is running with WP_DEBUG on, which isn’t normal for a production site. These errors wouldn’t be seen.

    Hi,

    those are warnings and you can turn them off easily adding this in your theme functions.php file, error_reporting(E_ERROR);

Otherwise just set a default location and they will disappear.

These errors however can’t be responsible for a 500 server error.

We can’t really fix your problems without seeing them (they are not common to all of our users and today over 100 person downloaded and installed the plugin).
