Email Notification of donation

You can include placeholders such as [firstname] [lastname] [fund] and/or [amount].

Thanks for your response, David. But where do I put those placeholders? I only have the option to edit the “Thank You Email” Which is sent to the donor, not to me. Like I said, I do not receive an email from Seamless Donations. Only Paypal. And the email from paypal only tells me the donor’s name and the amount they donated. I am wondering how I can receive notification from Seamless Donations with all information including the designated fund?

Ah, you want them in the email to the site operator. That’s not available yet, but it’s on my list.

Has there been any development in this department? Once a fund has been selected the information is not showing up in the paypal account. We are wanting communication between Seamless Donations and paypal to have the designated funds reflected in the Paypal transaction. Currently showing up as “donation” rather then specified designated fund in the Paypal account. Any development in this department? Thanks, really like seamless donations!
Our site is still in development.

I don’t believe it’s possible to pass that information to PayPal, but I will look into it. As for when, that’s pretty much up to random chance. It’s not a critical feature on the development path, but if I’m in that chunk of code, I’ll look at it.

I’m not particularly concerned receiving such info from PayPal, but WOULD like to see it in the Seamless Donations email to the listed recipients. Think that is what David says above that is “on my list”. I’m seeing the same lack of detail for Tribute donations. The emails to us say only:

NOTE: The donor is making this donation in honor of / in memory of someone. Please see the donation details (using the link below) for more information.

I have had a number of folks request enhancements to the mail messages. It’s definitely an on-my-list activity.
