Import posts from non-wordpress site

I am migrating my blog from what-it-takes.com to new.what-it-takes.com. I do not know what kind of platform what-it-takes runs on. what-it-takes.com does not run on wordpress and I’d like to import all 446 posts to new.what-it-takes.com, which runs on wordpress. Is it possible to migrate all posts and still maintain the pictures and datestamps, perhaps using csv or sql? How does this migration work? Need instructions.
