Add New – An error occured … YouTube API.

    Thanks for the plugin. It seems to have good options and I’m looking forward to getting this set up properly. I’m having two issues though:

    1. Adding New – An error occured while trying to query YouTube API. Error: No query specified. (code: yt_api_query_empty)

    I pulled the video id as instructed but I keep getting that error.

    2. Post Format – Video Format’s featured image doesn’t show on main page.

    When the videos are imported the Type is made “Video” but when posted on the main page the featured image doesn’t show up. When I manually make it “Standard” the Featured image shows up. How do I either make the image display or how do I change the Post’s Format.

    Thanks for using our plugin.

    1- Please refresh your YouTube API, This will work fine, Sometime this issue comes from YouTube API and some time its due to server restriction from Hosting company
    2- Please take a look at WordPress Dashboard —> YouTube VI —> YVI Settings –> Image Settings Check both options .

    For #1, I got a new API Key from Google and I received the same results. Here is a video id I’m trying to work with 5XMw38hYJak. How can I tell if it’s server restriction? The importing of channels works fine.

    Hi. I get the same error message. I have tried several time with a new Youtube API and I get the same results.
