Query monitor hangs for 15 secs on Chrome

    Something on you site is triggering an AJAX request from with the script loader (note the call to admin-ajax.php from within load-scripts.php in your second screenshot). This is very strange. As for the reason for the actual slowdown, I’m not sure.

    Can you try disabling your other plugins one by one (preferably while QM is still active) and see if the problem disappears?

    Thanks for your help. I found out who triggered the ajax call: WPML.

    Anyway, still strange that QM is blocking everything for that Ajax call… and just on Chrome. Right?
