Question

It has everything I need only I cant seem to find a print option anywhere. If I print from the browser, I get to much unneeded information. Could you implent that?

You may create an e-mail template with the necessary information through shortcodes, without having them to go to the tracking page and then printing the entire page. This way, they would only have to print the e-mail. Do not forget to set the order e-mail frequency to “On change” in the Options tabs to allow your customers to have the most updated file printed out.

A sample e-mail:

Dear [customer-name],

The status of your order [order-name] has been updated.
Its current status is now [order-status]. You may view its status here : [tracking-link]

Please print this message and bring it at your appointment:
Order name : [order-name]
Customer : [customer-name]
Sales Representative : [sales-rep]
Order status : [order-status]
Order nodes : [order-notes]

Thanks for the great assistance. I was using this approach for a month. But the customers always have an excuse by not bringing the paper with them. (printer dead, no inkt, didn’t had time, sorry i forgot my password and so on). So i need a workaround if thats possible.

I was thinking, if I make the order with all details, is it possible that I could print it out myself and hand it to them directly. Could you implent such feature please? A print icon next to the orders? So if they come back, they hand the same paper to me. (if they lose it, not my problem anymore)

We will definitely take it into consideration. Perhaps a download button for a pdf version of the message and a print button? ?? Let us know of any other suggestions you would find pertinent to our plugin.

That would be perfect. Just a print button. So I can save it to pdf and print later for customer or I open and print directly. I hope you can make that! Would that be difficult to make?

Ofcourse if you would like to put print and pdf button. That would be awesome too.

I’m considering this plugin to be able to assign orders to specific sales reps. I am using Woocommerce, but I’m unclear if the free version will do this or if I need to have the premium version.

It’s on our list of requested features, but it’s not something that anyone else has asked for at this point, so it got a lower priority than PayPal integration and a couple of other things we’ve added recently.
