I’m trying to use the plugin: MailChimp Forms by MailMunch version 2.1.1

    I have 2 issues:
    1) where to place header code
    2) how to create a sidebar widget form

Firstly, I went through the process of creating an embedded form in the mailmunch window, but didn’t know where to paste the header code – it says ‘paste on every page’, does that mean every single post/page on my site? Is there any way to just do this once to cover the whole site?

Abandoning this, I tried to make a sidebar form (would you still need to paste header code manually for this to work, or does the widget itself do all the work?)
In the widgets tab I created a sidebar widget. I then need to select the form, but there are none created (since there is no option to create sidebar forms in the mailmunch main screen). So I click the link that says “create one now”, and it just gives me an error as per the link below.

I also tried going to ‘mailchimp’ ->’forms’ in my wordpress dashboard menu to see if I could create one there, but I only get the text “couldn’t connect to host”

    1) You don’t need to place any header code. The WordPress plugin automatically does it for you.

    2) Go to your WordPress admin > Appearance > Widgets and drag the MailChimp Sidebar widget to your desired sidebar area. Then expand it and create your sidebar form. Please remember that once you have created the form, you need to expand the widget again to choose it.

Can you send a screenshot of the error you got when you clicked create one now ?

    Hi,

I am using a WordPress SG Window theme. I added Mailmunch sidebar optin form. The sidebar shows the optin form twice, one beneath the other. I cannot attach a screen shot to show the result. Here is the address of one of my posts: https://seniorshealthcaretopics.com/getting-rid-of-hemorrhoids-the-natural-way/. It may change as I am working on the problem.

I have done the following to attempt to fix it to no avail.

    1. Completely removed the plugin including all associated files and re-creating the form.
    2. Adding the form from the ‘customizer’ panel of SG Window theme and choosing the ‘sidebar optin’ option from the drop down ‘Select’ box.
    3. Adding the form using the dashboard ‘widget’ option and dragging the widget to the 2nd default column and selecting ‘sidebar optin’ from the ‘select’ drop down box.
    4. Deleting the form completely and then recreating the form using the dashboard ‘widget’ option by dragging the empty widget to the 2nd default column and selecting ‘create new sidebar form’.
    5. All to no avail. Please help.
