    Hi,

I’ve installed the plugin, enabled it for Attachments in the Folder Settings Menu (couldn’t see Media), and then created lots of Folders under the Media Folders menu option.

I’ve assigned my Media into various Folders and Sub-Folders, but cannot see a way to browse all my Media in Folders. How is this done?

    Thanks,

  • Hi there, sorry for the late reply.

Can you tell me, which version of WordPress you are using?

Thanks tex0gen – worked it out!

hi!…i think i am having the same problem mentioned above…specifically, when i hover over ‘media folders’ no submenu pops up…i have 2 folders and several media files in one of them…as mentioned in another post, the ‘count’ is showing as ‘0’ although they are definitely in there…ie. the folder name is beside the files in the media library…i am using 4.2.4…any help greatly appreciated as i can’t wait to use this plugin!…thanks! : )

    Hi Kineticcanine,

Can you tell me, are you running the latest version of the folders plugin?

i checked under ‘plugins’ and it says 1.2.12…sooooo…yes…i think!…i just installed it yesterday…
    : )

Just an update, we are looking into this but cannot seem to replicate the error. Bare with us for the mean time.

I’m having problems along these lines as well, now.

I have wordpress 4.4.2 and Folders 1.3.3 installed.

There are two issues with this. I’m using folders on Attachments only:

1). When I go to “Media Folders” the count remains 0, but when I click on it, the correct items are shown for that specific folder.
2). The Folder icon is missing in the menu.

1 and 2 are probably related in that it’s counting the items inside the folder incorrectly. It counts 0 items, so the Folders item doesn’t appear in the menu and it shows 0 in the “Media Folders” page.

    Hi bbottema,

The count items does not count media items. We thought we had figured out a workaround but apparently that fix no longer works with the latest wordpress. We are working on it.

In regards to fault 2, we shall have to look into this also. Back in touch shortly.

    Thanks.
