How do I Upgrade to 2.2.2 Version?

  • Hi,
    My wordpress Installed Version is 2.2.1. I installed my wordpress from Fantastico. Now I want to upgrade to 2.2.2. Please tell me step by step how to upgrade from Fantastico.

  • The latest version is 2.3 not 2.2.2.

    If the fantastico on your server has the newer version then it does it for you, even more: usually, it warns you to do it.

    Otherwise, you will have to di a manual upgrade:

    EDIT. Moved from Alpha to How-To (nothing alpha in a standard upgrade)

    In order to upgrade via Fantastico only, you need to wait for your server’s Fantastico to supply the upgrade. Once it is available you will find an “upgrade” link within your Fantastico. Otherwise, you will need to upgrade manually.
