Media Library not showing image thumbnails

I have the same issue..
it is just loading and loading..

i just noticed that i can see the images when i to list mode on media library..

But now i can not fix my image gallery becourse it has no list mode on adding image.. somehow the image gallery was dissappear also..
Now i’m wondering how to explain this to my customer..

Same problem here. Don’t see image thumbs in either list or grid mode.

Even worse, the uploaded images appear as broken images on the site too – so the problem isn’t limited to images not being visible in the WordPress admin.

Please help WordPress! I’m working on several websites for clients and all of them have this issue. Quite a big issue, as all of them need to have images with their products or blogs or pages.

I noticed when disabling plug-ins, when i removed
this: Responsive Image Gallery. WordPress medialibrary worked again..

I have deactivated all plugins, but the problem persists.

I deactivated the plugins and found the issue.

Pwrhouse, then what was the issue you discovered?

@libermedia, try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, then it is unlikely that you’re facing the same issue.

I have similar issues:

All my thumbnail images embedded in the posts disappeared.
However, my Media Lib is fine.
I have only one plugin: simple social button.

Same issue as everyone else. When I go to my Media Library, I can see al my pictures there. Whenever I click on one and then I click on edit image, the thumbnail doesn’t show and it shows the broken link icon.

This started happening once I upgraded WP to 4.2.2 and the issue is still the same with 4.2.3.

I deactivated all plug ins, changed my theme, cleared my cached content and nothing has worked.

In my case I needed to deactivate a plugin – luckily I didn’t need to use it after all, so in this case the issue was resolved. Having that said I would love to learn how others have resolved their issues.

@andrew, even when deactivating all plugins, the problem persists. This isn’t just an issue on 1 website, but on at least 5 different websites I’m currently working on. Any other ideas on what could cause this issue? (or better yet; how to solve it!)
