German translation

  • Hi Alex,

    I’d like to make a German translation. Can I duplicate the file “en_US.pot”, replace the English msgid with German msgid and then send the file to you?

  • Hey there cityfox,

    .pot file is empty translation file so there is nothing you should be able replace there but rather just add translation for text.

    Generally you can just open the file, save it as de_DE and make the changes to text using Poedit for example.

    Once done just make sure to have German language selected in Settings -> General and you should be all set ??
