Trouble installing wordpress in a directory

    Hi there,

    I am having trouble installing wordpress on my server. I am trying to install it on my Fasthosts server and am getting these messages:

    ! PHP for the selected domain has failed.

    OneClick Installer is unable to install to a domain where PHP is not working.

    Fasthosts can help you resolve this error.

    Error code: 2; HTTP code: 200

  • Contact FastHosts support team, they’ll be able to resolve this for you. It’s an issue with them rather than WordPress.

    Also check with your host for:

    System Requirements

    PHP version 5.2.4 or higher.
    MySQL version 5.0 or higher.

    Recommendations

    PHP version 5.4 or higher.
    MySQL version 5.5 or higher.
    The mod_rewrite Apache module.
    A link to www.ads-software.com on your site.
