    I have stupidly attempted this at least a dozen times in hopes of a different outcome; thanks Einstein!

    I have an exported WP xml (38mg) from the existing live site (sdrostra.com) and here’s the head…

    As you can see it is WP version 3.2.1 and I am importing into 4.2.3 using the WP Importer. The images at this link are for reference.

    So I start the import and by all appearances, it seems to be working the way it is supposed to, I don’t need to import attachments so I click Submit. After a minute or two the 404 page appears and I am sure that is not supposed to happen, especially sine the url clearly intends to go on to step 2 of the process.

    So what the heck is going on here and how to resolve for a successful import? Thanks
