Updates to my site are not showing

  • Hello, I am fairly new to Word Press and am having some issues with getting my changes to reflect on the site. I had been running the seedprod coming soon plugin for about a month, while building my site. Today I disabled that plugin to have the site go live. I then tried changing some pictures, but the new pictures are not showing on the site, just the old ones. I have tried clearing my cache, disabling the WP super cache plugin, and resaving the CSS files as these were suggestions that I found in other threads. None of these solutions, however has resulted in my changes being reflected on my site. I made the changes a few hours ago and have had no luck. To be specific, I am trying to change the images in my bootstrap slider in the header portion of my site. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  • Hi! Thanks for writing. It sounds like there’s a lot going on, but if I understand right, the main symptom is that you’re wanting to change the images in the bootstrap slider in the header portion of the site, but the new pictures are not showing on the site.

    Can you give me a little more info- will you post a link to the site, and the name of the theme that you’re using?

    I’d be interested to know a list of plugins installed, (if any, in addition to the seedprod coming soon plugin and the WP super cache plugin already mentioned). Can you share?
