    I have found lots of errors being reported i.e.:

    Well, this has put me off buying an agency license!

    Looks like your MailPoet wasn’t properly installed. If you haven’t created any newsletter yet, you can try the reinstall process under Settings page > Advanced tab > Geeky options link > Reinstall button to fix these table issues.
