How to prevent text from wrapping with multiple images?

    Hi.

    I wrote a post with text and several images. I wanted to place the text above the image. For example, “Haleakala Crater – Right before sunset” followed by a picture of Maui below it. I do not want the text to wrap. Yet rather than getting the text in one line above the image, I get it in 3. I.e…
    Haleakala
    Crater – Right
    Before Sunset
    **Image**

    This is better than what it was doing before (inserting all text to right of image) but it is still annoying.

    I also cannot seem to control the spacing between text and images. Would creating the document in Microsoft word and then pasting it do anything? Or, would I have the same issues.

    Previously, after countless time spent trying to adjust the image and insert breaks (none of which worked), I installed a plugin called WPG2 and set the default for the image to float left. Now, at least the text is above the image like I want. But how do I stop the wrapping and space problems?

    I believe I found the answer to this and will post it for others benefit. To stop this annoying text wrapping I simply added the following piece of code after every image and text.

    <br clear=”left” />

    hallelujah! that worked. Credit goes to a user called Kat. Thanks!

    I should mention that I also created a class in WPG2 called “alignleft” and used this for all my images. But this had no effect in fixing the above problem. I mention it only in case both had to be done to fix this problem.
