Hello,

I linked my self hosted site with WordPress.com and was messing around with what was available to me managing my site via wordpress.com when I tried ‘reblogging.’ Obviously this didn’t work (as I now know it’s not possible).

BUT, somehow this process has caused my blog to stop working. the link is: https://www.wizzfx.com/blog

The site itself works otherwise, and although I currently have NO posts in the blog, it’s just bringing up a blank page.

I contacted support at wordpress.com but they pointed me here. The original post I made there: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/reblogging-causing-fault-on-self-hosting-site?replies=8#post-2435124

Has anyone else experienced this same problem? Or is there a fix? I’m hoping I don’t have to rebuild the entire site with a clean install… :-/

How did you select your self-hosted site when trying to reblog? I tried hitting the Reblog button at the bottom of this post, but I was only presented with a dropdown of my WordPress.com sites. Since reblogs are limited to WordPress.com blogs, your self-hosted WordPress site won’t be listed there.

Did you happen to use another button to Reblog, maybe?

In answer to your question I’m not sure I managed to fix anything yet. I can get it to work via firefox, but only if I hit refresh after visiting the page. In safari it just doesn’t load.

Perhaps it’s a local issue with my IP, will do some further investigation and update if I find out more!

I checked in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari and everything seems to be working properly.
