    There is a white area at the top of the twentyfourteen page which I believe is the header. It shows up in white to the left of the logo here

    The header image which is set at 1260px x 240px. I have tried changing it in a number of places but to no effect.

    I would really like it to be black.

    Anyone know how I can do this?

    I was seriously not paying attention when I wrote the above… The white space appears to the RIGHT of the logo – Duh!

    Solved it by using the right size image (1260px x 240px) and using up the extra depth with text, but would still like to know how to resize it…
