A Comment won't allow to select, delete, approve or unapprove

  • Suddenly a new comment cannot be selected. There is no check box for me to select it, and there are no links displayed to allow me to transact on this comment. In the previous 30 minutes the system had automatically updated me to WordPress 4.2.4. I’m not sure if the two events are related, but it seems very suspicious to me. Any advice appreciated.

    I have found your issue, it actually because of the comment is not associated with any of the posts.

    You have to delete it from the database.

    But if you don’t want to touch database, you can use this plugin
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/delete-comments/

    First note down, which user is attached to blank comments

    You can use “Delete by user” option to delete the comment, it will hard delete that comment
