No drag & drop options are shown in the visual editor

  • When I edit a newsletter, the existing layout is available but none of the drag and drop elements are. I’ve tried disabling all plugins, switching to the default theme and reinstalling MailPoet from scratch, with no success. No new plugins have been installed since the last time I used MailPoet successfully (yesterday), and I experience the same problem across multiple browsers.

    To add:

    I tried this with the browser console running and received this error:

    SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property ‘uniqueID’ of undefined or null reference
    prototype.js, line 6861 character 5

    Have you cleared your Browser’s cache? Try that please!

    I have read the support article and tried all the recommended troubleshooting solutions. Turning on the debug feature (+safe PHP) shows no errors, only the SQL queries. I can send you a screenshot of them if that would be helpful.

    I have cleared my cache and restarted the browser (on multiple browsers) without success. Last night I also tested this on multiple computers/multiple browsers on each computer, all with the same result.

    When you told us that you’ve tried “reinstalling MailPoet from scratch” you mean the Reinstall option inside the Settings page > Advanced tab > Geeky options link?

    If that’s the case, can you please deactivate and delete MailPoet and install it again at the Plugins page of your Dashboard? Looks like some files are missing.
