Replicating home page style/theme on additional pages?
-
Hi there,
So I really love the layout, look, and general styling of my home page using the One Tone theme. However, I’m a bit confused about additional pages… I realize it is probably intended to just add extra sections to the main home page, rather than have an actual dedicated page to link to.In any case, there are a few areas of content that I would like to have on separate pages, and the template for supplemental pages doesnt seem to really even match the home page. I prefer not to have the sidebar image, as it doesnt match my style– plus its intersecting header text (which i also don’t want showing, as it isn’t showing on my home page). There’s also colors being used (i.e. some type of silver) that clash with my selected colors.
Long story short– is it possible to just make a duplicate of the home page, only with all blank sections. For example, a visitor clicks on to a link from my home page, which takes them to a new, loaded page. That page then looks exactly like the home page– has the same colors, nav bar, scrolling effects etc… only difference is, the content on it is all revolving around whatever that link was– none of the homepage stuff.
If this isn’t possible, is there a way to EASILY override or modify the page template? I don’t do programming, so I need a super simple guide to follow.
Cheers in advance!
