    I haven’t had a chance to look into the plugin you mentioned, but I know a lot of customers are using Peter’s Login Redirect to achieve what you’re describing – and it works with Google Apps Login.

    Perhaps give that a try instead (it seems better supported, and maybe is up-to-date with the latest WordPress methods where the plugin you mentioned may not be).

    Let me know by email if you are still having problems and I can take a closer look at your WordPress configuration.
