• Hello all,

Scenario: I’ve created a single sample landing page (using the ElegantThemes Divi theme). I want to clone this landing page a couple-hundred times and replace certain keywords with new values on each clone–ultimately winding up with a couple-hundred landing pages that are laid out exactly the same, but have different images and text.

Question: What I’d love to be able to do is have a page set up as a “Master Template” page, and a couple hundred other “pages” that simply provide a dictionary of key value pairs… one for each keyword in the “Master Template” page. That way it’d be easy to modify the master template, but I could still have 200 separate landing pages. Is there a plugin or something that can do this? Seems like there has to be one, but I can’t find it.

The only thing I can think of doing is writing some kind of script that pulls the content from the master page as a string, does a massive find and replace, and pushes the new string up as a new page, but I’d prefer not to go that rout for a host of obvious reasons. Any other solutions out there?

Thanks so much to anyone who takes the time to respond!

  • Hi there,

have you found a solution already? you may use a spreadsheet software to create a list, with some columns storing text that stay the same, and some columns store page specific keywords, or title. save as a csv file, and then use a plugin such as WP All Import to import to wordpress.

WP all import allows you to drag and drop fields from your CSV file to dynamically construct the title and content during import. If you need to update some of the keywords in the future, just update the csv and run the import again by updating pages. big files are divided into small manageable chunks before import so you can import even big files.
