    Hi @frank-in-oz
Just tested your theme with my plugin. All works as expected and the sidebar is visible to non-logged-in users.

There should be an issue elsewhere, because this plugin is very simple in what it does.

Please, keep me informed about every news.

    Hi @aldolat,

    thx for responding quickly.

I think I found the reason, having no experience with html at all and being a newbie to wordpress I don’t know what it means. But I can make it work now.

I reproduced the non working page line by line to check when the problem turns up. When it appeared I switched into the text editor.

There were a lot of <div> and </div> things going on. The [/private] obviously likes to live behind the </div> in order to make it work.

I had a brief read what they do and sussed these <div> were copied in there when our editor took text from the old site by copy and paste. They are obviously messing it up. I’ll tell her to use plain text copies in future.

Strange though – and good to know – that it is possible to place a shortcode at the wrong place in the visual editor, and one can even confuse the lot by deleting a character in the visual editor.

I’ll better use the text-editor for placing shortcodes and cleaning up texts in future.

    Thanks a lot again
    Cheers
    Frank
