    Hi
I’ve followed every step to setup the plugin. I get a redirect error when trying to auth my webapp from within WP. I suspect that the problem MAY be:
When I want to auth the app, I’m asked (by google) to select what google account should be auth’ed. I have several accounts, and I could imagine that the redirect URL is messed up because of this step. Not sure.
However, I cant auth the app from WP, sadly.
    Any ideas?

“The redirect URI in the request: https://mydomain.xxx/wp-admin/admin.php?page=youtube-for-wordpress did not match a registered redirect URI.”

The URL in that message is exactly how I entered it in the Application on Google, field called “Redirect URIs”

?? Messed around with it for some time now, still no luck.

It’s against forum rules to keep bumping threads.

With that being said, if you still can’t get things to work, then it’s most likely a server configuration error. That or you’ve input the wrong credentials. I have setup this plugin on 30+ sites, all without issue (both shared and VPS, bluehost/hostgator/wpengine).

Please follow along with the setup video again.

    Thanks.

    Unfortunately,

I’ve had a wide variety of mixed reviews for this plugin so it has been placed on the backburner. I find that those that appreciate the plugin are willing to work with me to get things up and running. More than half of the users attempt to set it up, can’t and write me a very negative email or leave a negative review.

Also the level of time required to maintain and support this plugin far outweighs that of my premium products.

So for those reasons, I haven’t pursued the add-ons that I had initially intended on releasing (front end uploader, YouTube account monitor etc). I’m not entirely sure what I plan on doing with this plugin, and thus why things have been hit or miss with support.

If you are having issues feel free to reach out via the contact form on my site and I can help you set thing sup.

    Thanks,
    Evan

    Hi Evan
I hear you. I work with software development too, and more than often, people will not appreciate the time you put into it or complexity of making it work in all those potential setups. My comment was not negative at all, my bumP, just a bump ??
I’ll retry, just did few minutes ago, but was interrupted for some reason, so I’ll try again.
I’ll be sure to leave a result-comment here, and also appreciate your efforts in publishing this plugin and maintaining it so far.
    Rgds
    Jakob
