How to translate the plugin ?

Regarding your question (which applies to the free Comment Mail hosted here on www.ads-software.com as well), you’ll find a default translation file in includes/translations/ that you can use to translate the plugin.

@cosmintataru I just realized that the current release of Comment Mail is missing the translation file. We have added the default default translation file (see here) and it will go out with the next release, due out soon.

Hey Raam Dev,

I fetched the .pot file from the GitHub Repo of the comment mail pro and renamed it from comment-mail-pro.pot to comment-mail.pot and created a .po and .mo file with name base comment-mail-de_DE for the german language. Then I uploaded them into the /includes/translations/ folder but it wont work.

What am I doing wrong?

@reeve WordPress no longer recommends including the translation file with the plugin itself, so we stopped including a translation file for the free version hosted on www.ads-software.com. Instead, you should use https://translate.www.ads-software.com/
