Wonderful Plugin, But Google Is A Tough Nut To Crak

This plugin is awesome and I have learned so much. Within minutes of posting an article I often find myself #1 for my search term on Bing and Yahoo. Google on the other hand is much tougher. Sometimes I may make the front page, rarely am I #1 though. Making the front page usually takes over a day or longer, whereas Bing and Yahoo are instant.
Is there a reason why Google is so much harder to crack? Am I doing something wrong?
