  • Just out of curiosity: what happens if you remove the big amazon ad from the sidebar?

If you search for “sidebar down IE” – you will find plenty of answers. The fact that it happens with your content area is due to the coding of your theme… the syndrome is the same.

    hihi,
    thks for advise..
its stil the same thing.. i am not too sure why is it this way.. as the amazon width is abt 180, which is stil within the sidebar width of 200..
but i guess i just reduce the main body width now.

Not always. If you have, for example, a 10px padding on each sides > 180+2×10=200 and that will NOT fit into a 200px wide element!

Even though 10+180+10 equals 200, ie6 won’t figure it out correctly.

Look up “conditional comments” you can fix for just ie6 if something like padding is the problem
