• Can’t believe it — no one seems to know how to fix this.

Posting on this board, desperate for a solution.

I’ve Googled and tried EVERY SINGLE fix suggested going back several years. I am getting this error message: ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.

Cookies ARE enabled on ALL my browsers. I’ve cleared cache several times. Switched themes, etc.

I know someone coding computer genius out there knows how to fix this.

    Thank you in advance.
    Lori

I have that problem too on one site. I’ve had it before and it resolved itself after an upgrade.

I have found as a workaround if you just type your username and password a second time it will let you in. Hope that works for you in the meantime.

I never did find a good reason why it happens. I had it before with several sites around 3.7.

Seems to have shown up again just in the 4.2 versions.

    Thanks for your reply, Matt.

Unfortunately, entering the UN/PW twice isn’t working for me.

Going back SEVERAL years NO ONE seems to have a good reason why this happens.

I find that totally unacceptable on the part of WordPress and developers of themes and plugins in general.

A gajillion people have had this issue over the course of about THREE YEARS and the best solution offered seems to be to just wait for an update and hope it goes away? It’s truly shocking considering the caliber of code wizardry that I know exists out there.
