CSS Changing itself on 2015 Template

  • On 12sre.com, we are using the 2015 template and have adjusted the style.css file and it has been the same. However, the css will undo itself and keep reverting back to the old template each time even though we want it to be the same. This has been an ongoing issue for a while, so is there any way to solve it?

  • It is called a child theme (that is if you aren’t using one already). If you are directly editing the parent theme then when it updates all your edits will be lost. You can fix this by creating a child theme.

    By “2015 template” do you mean the twentyfifteen theme?

    Are you using a child theme?

    Your changes will be overwritten any time the twentyfifteen theme is updated, unless you make a child theme…….
