Theme Name No Longer Changes

  • We have used your plugin with several of our sites but we notice now that when we try to moving a site to a new domain the theme name no longer changes for example lets say we used the plugin on https://www.site1.com and made the package and than moved it to https://www.site2.com before the theme name would change with the new install but now it doesn’t do that any more. Here is a list of domains that we have done this with if you click view source your will see the theme name is different on each domain we never did anything else it always changed when we installed it on a new domain

    boltpatternhelp.com
    boltpatterninfo.com
    boltpatternspecs.com

  • Hey myboltpattern,

    This could be an edge case. I have never seen a theme with the same name as the domain, but that may be what is causing the behavior. What was the original name of theme? I’m assuming your wanting the original theme name to stay intact (the same) for all sites? So for each of the themes listed below you need it to say:

    boltsite.com/wp-content/themes/MYTHEME/

    where MYTHEME would remain constant?

    no i want it to change every time it’s installed on a new domain but it’s no longer doing that
