Hi, how are you re-installing ?

Try deleting the plugin (all files) and then re-installing by ‘add-new’.
I have just done this on my test site and all was fine, so perhaps somehow you are missing a file ?

Check you have all of these in the include folder
    https://plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com/amr-users/trunk/includes/

Is this your first ever attempt ? (ie never had the plugin before)
Is it just list 2, is list 1 ok – that would indicate some other kind of error.

other possibilities for admin page 404 errors are a permalink related problem or a resource related or weirdly even a browser cacheing problem (try another browser)

I have done all of the above to no avail.

Reinstalled via “add new” and used the auto install AND also tried via ftp.

    Checked permalinks.

Tried firefox, chrome, safari (os x)

All files listed above are in place.

    Turned off all other plugins.

    Changed to twenty fifteen theme.

Still no luck at all. I have used this plugin before with this theme and worked fine. What else should I be looking at????

Gosh I have no idea. It seems to be specific to that install as you have noted.
Did you try refreshing the permalinks ? (navigate to permalinks) and then also be sure the browser hasnt cached stuff.
And/or clean out the .htaccess and try again.

    Did you check resource limits?

Did you try with WP_DEBUG to see of any messages said anything helpful?

other than trying a separate clean wp-install in case something is corrupted somewhere, I cannot think what else to suggest.

Sometimes when weird things happen it turns out to be something corrupted in the database. This doesn’t sound like it, but we clutching at straws here – maybe check/repar the tables?

Tried EVERYTHING at this point and still no luck. I really need this to work … help?

I change an item in the list, click Update List, and it brings me to the 404 page with this in the ur:

Hi, as noted before since you are the only one experiencing this problem, it has to be something to do with your install or your host.

Is it happening on your test site (local and/or remote) or your live site?

Does it happen on all of them ?

If you set your remote test site to one of the default wp themes (eg twenty-fifteen) and deactivate all other plugins and the problem still remains, I’m prepared to have a look – Email me ([email protected]) an admin login to the site with the wp default theme and no other plugins active.
