Navigation broken: "Menu Background Hover Color"

Since the last update my ‘Menu Background Hover Color’ seems to have broken. Right after the update the background did not change in its hover state anymore. I did not change any of the navigation colour settings. After I uploaded and updated the online site, the same happened there. Also changing the value of this option does nothing. I cannot change it into any other colour.
