I just updated both of your plugins and now I’m getting the same errors:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/eevitts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-invoice/wp-invoice.php on line 40

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/eevitts/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-crm/wp-crm.php on line 40

    for both wp-invoice and wp-crm

I am runnning PHP Version 5.2.17

I have recurring invoicing and sensitive data I need to recover. I do have site backups but not too recent and don’t want to lose billing history.

I just updated PHP version and that seemed to do the trick.
I could not find the PHP requirement for the plugins. Updated to 5.4 and all is working again.

Same issue, updated to PHP 5.4 and site still broken?

I am getting the same error. Our hosting service updated to php 5.5.29. Was throwing a line 161 error and then I updated plugin…now throwing a line 40 error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /wp-content/plugins/wp-invoice/wp-invoice.php on line 40.

please resolve..i have all my invoice data here.

    Thanks
    Jules

    Hello,@jules22 and @jebernier

    Check this ticket also.

This issue relates only to php version on your server.

    Regards.

Yes, correct after doing a phpinfo I see that the version I am running is PHP Version 5.2.9. The program will not run on 5.2.9 ? It has to be upgraded to 5.4 ? Is this correct ?

    @jules22

Yes, you need to update the php version to 5.3 or higher.

    Regards.
