• HI all,

We have this problem on our sites – the visual editor is not saving after you do changes on the post content. This only happens on MAC – all browsers.

But its working on Windows – all browsers, does anyone had the same issues?

    These are the errors :

    Uncaught TypeError: a.wp._createToolbar is not a function…

    if view more details :

    (anonymous function) @ plugin.min.js:1
    more errors on tinymce…

I have done adding this on wp-config file :

    define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); – still no effect…

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting https://whatbrowser.org/

If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browsers (and versions of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

    hi James,

Still the same, the same error as usual..

    (@macmanx)

Which browser (and version of) are you using?

    (@eyouthace)

    hi James,

This only happens on MAC – chrome, safari and firefox

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

    Which *version* of those browsers?

https://whatbrowser.org/ will tell you if you don’t know.

    hi James,

user said they had the latest versions of the browser using that tool. But still not work. Maybe I need to try to update to latest core 4.3 if that fix the problem.

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

Ok, so you personally don’t see this problem?

Also, yes, please upgrade to 4.3.

I’m having this same problem! I’m using Windows 10 – Edge (I think technically Internet Explorer)

Please open your own thread about that: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting#postform

As you’ll note above, crea8xion is specifically not having an issue with any Windows browsers, so it’s not the same issue.

    Hi James,

I updated to latest core but still cant save changes in using visual editor.

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

Ok, I’m a bit confused at this point. Are you personally unable to save changes, or just other users on the blog?

    Thread Starter crea8xion

    (@eyouthace)

    hi James,

We have users using our site. Users using MAC/OS cannot save their changes using the visual editor, I already pasted the errors generated from the browsers console.

When they use text editor changes can be saved, but not all users knows html to laid out their content. So pretty much visual editor is much handy to work for them, but at this moment they cannot use it. If they update their content and hit update, changes did not take effectively.

Ok, I need to see if I can reproduce the error, so I need exact browsers and versions.

I’m a Mac user myself with no problems on Chrome 44 and Firefox 40.
