Can't add new gallery – no error message

    I have about 42 galleries in my site. However, when I try to add a new one, nothing happens. I go to Easy Gallery > Add Gallery and enter the info (like I did with the previous 42 galleries). But when I click on the add button nothing happens. Is there a gallery limit in the free version? Maybe the plugin is not compatible with the latest WP version?
    Is there a way to see a log and catch any error messages that might arise?

    Hi,

    There is no limit to the number of galleries you can add to the free version and WP Easy Gallery is compatible with the latest version of WordPress. There may be another plugin conflict occurring.

    I’m having this issue as well. I haven’t added anything and it’s worked before. I have the pro version. Hit add gallery and nothing happens…

    Interesting. It seems to have not liked the gallery name – Tamaya Residents Club Construction

    Is there a character limitation? There are no funky characters or anything. Changing the gallery name seemed to “fix” the issue…

    That is interesting. Did you copy and paste the name from a Word Doc or any formatted document like that? Doing so can introduce unseen characters that are non-standard.

    Hi,

    After reviewing the code I found that gallery names were limited to 30 characters. This has been increased to 60 in the latest release (4.1.6)

    The Pro and Premium versions have also been updated:
