Page Went Blank

    Hi, one of my pages went blank.
    It was working when I last used it on Friday, and now it comes up blank aside from the blocks of color that I chose for my backgrounds. The menu bar that is used to access the Dashboard is also blank! It appears to be the only effected page. All other pages seem to be normal and the dashboard menu comes up.
    The first thing I tried was cloning the page and also restoring old versions, and none of those steps seemed to make any change.
    The Page has downloads on it, and links to youtube videos.
    There are some text blocks, but that’s pretty-much it.
    Can anyone please help me get it back?

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Ok, I couldn’t figure it out, so I ended up just rewriting the whole page and deactivating the old page.
    I still can’t figure out what was wrong, and I still have the old page saved. I can’t even open it up as a preview.
    It’s also weird that the menu bar at the top of the screen shows blank as well (but still a black strip).

    How is it possible that only one of my pages could be non-functional, and then when I remake it, the new, identical page is just fine?

    Was any plugin in particular involved in the creation or content of the page?

    Download manager was, but that is on like 5 pages, and none of them were affected at all.
    I also remade the page, and it seems to be ok now. There is just some kind of issue with the old page. Perhaps there is some kind of file corruption that I cannot see.
    Oh well, maybe I should start making backup clone pages of all of my pages in case I spontaneously lose more work?

    You might want to check in over at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/download-manager to see if there’s any known issue.

    As for backups, it’s always a good time to start backing up. ??
