    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

That “Saving successful: The table was saved successfully.” message is totally unrelated to that Extension, it’s part of the “main” plugin (TablePress).

I can’t really think of an easy way for changing it at the moment (except for editing the plugin’s PHP files, which however is a bad thing to do). One idea might be to use a small custom plugin that uses the gettext filter hook to overwrite the text with your own message.

I’m not really sure that gettext would be helpful in this case because the message needs to be different depending on the table data processed during the export and from what I gathered from the tablepress code the export itself occurs after the table has been saved and the message has been rendered (not really sure about the last one, though).

Guess, I’ll have to send the message through mail if what I’ve described above is really the case.

Thanks again for the help and also a big thanks for developing tablepress and the export plugin – they’re really awesome!

    Hi,

yes, you are right. For this use case, that filter is not really going to work. That message is basically just printing out the current status, and that doesn’t know what else has been done after the table was saved.

    Regards,
    Tobias
